Well, it's another (Dutch) way of writing Anita. It comes from Anna and in Italian Anita means: little Anna.
Nowadays it's not a popular name anymore, as it was when I was born (longgggg time ago). Most people think they have to say: Anniëta I think it's also related to Agnetha, which I like better.
I'm becoming very fond of the spelling "Annita" myself...
Agnetha makes me wonder if "Agnes" is part of all this too
Not sure if I said so but my other DA profile is entirely devoted to words, labeling, and names (mostly female ones)... Mind if I write a quick journal over there containing what you just shared? Anyway, if you're curious where that is, you can find a link on this profile's profile page...
Oww, that sounds interesting. Go ahead, I'm going to visit that page.
And yes, there are women named Annita without the e. But also not that many.
Actually I would have prefered my second name: Yvonne. But..there were already 2 girls in the same street called that name. So my mom made up another one.
I actually learned about the name Annita cause there is a centrifuge machine whose parents named her software Annita. A little Googling showed me this was an actual female name...
your beautiful piece of art has been featured in our latest journal: [link]
Congratulations

Thanks anyway, it's nice to read your comment
